Kyoto University Research Coordination Alliance (京都大学研究連携基盤, hereinafter referred to as “KURCA”) is strengthening cooperation through the dissemination of research results, joint operation and joint procurement of large-scale equipment, appropriate centralized management of university resources, and focused allocation of resources for common tasks at Kyoto University affiliated research institutes and centers. KURCA is also striving to support the foundation of new fields of study through the fusion of different disciplines to further strengthen the research capabilities and globalization of the graduate and undergraduate schools at Kyoto University.
