As shown in the figure below, the KURCA consists of the 18 KUICs as its core members. Among these, 14 promote collaborative research with researchers’ communities through their Joint Usage/Research Centers certified by the MEXT to support in- and external researchers. In addition, the Field Science Education and Research Center offers 5 remote educational facilities, belonging to it and certified by the MEXT as Joint Usage/Education Centers to support student education activities, to other universities.
